ABOUT THE PROJECT
Achilles & Patroclus returns to Greek mythology before the Trojan War, before Achilles becomes the worlds greatest warrior.
Centered on the relationship between Achilles and Patroclus, the film explores youth, intimacy, and humanity through a queer perspective, while creating a world inspired by the landscape and cultural legacy of ancient Greece.
Achilles and Patroclus is a proof of concept for Mount Pelion, an hour-long mythic anthology told through a collection of shorts. Set in Ancient Greece and inspired by the lost Epic Cycle, the series explores heroes before they became legends. It will have the heart of Black Mirror, the soul of The Twilight Zone, and the spirit of Love, Death + Robots.

We have successfully raised nearly $10,000 through our community, and Achilles & Patroclus has been accepted for fiscal sponsorship through the Gotham Film & Media Institute.
With production moving forward in Greece this October, we are now inviting a select group of patrons and production partners to help us close the remaining production gap and become part of the project at its earliest stage.
